Descriptions

In a time of global crises and “interwoven sustainability emergencies” (Stoddard et al., 2021), global cooperation is crucial. The need for a global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, tackling global inequalities and fostering the acceleration of meaningful digital connectivity while safeguarding global climate and ecosystems calls for innovative ways of cooperation on the transnational and global levels.

Building on innovative methods like Future Design, the purpose of the event is to develop and discuss within the transnational policy communities of the G20/T20 innovative, big ideas and positive visions—utopias—of global cooperation fit for the future.
