The 'Free and Active' principle - which was first conveyed by Mohammad Hatta - has been used in Indonesia's strategic policies in dealing with various issues. This project invites young academics to analyze how the free and active principle is used as the basis for various Indonesian strategic policies. The analysis is then compiled into a book which was edited by Dr. Evan Laksmana and Dr. Lina A. Alexandra.
