The 2024 Indonesian presidential and vice-presidential election is only six weeks away. In the limited time before the election, the upcoming political landscape still stokes several important questions and may undergo dynamic changes considering that there are still three presidential/vice-presidential debates left and an open campaign with a new zoning system will be held in January 2024. With that, how is the current political landscape amidst the contest between the three presidential and vice- presidential candidates, especially after the first presidential debate? Will the 2024 Indonesian presidential and vice-presidential election be held in one round or lead to a runoff? Which candidates will compete in the runoff? This writing will map out the recent condition regarding the 2024 Indonesian presidential and vice-presidential election based on a recent survey conducted by CSIS in mid-December 2023.
