Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia and Japan Mission to ASEAN cordially invites you to join our Webinar on Deepening Cooperation to Achieve a Free and Open Indo-Pacific with ASEAN. Japan's conception of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) has overlapping interests with ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP). In line with the FOIP, Japan has strengthened its cooperation with several Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia and Vietnam. However, question remains on how both conceptions could manage the new and strategic dynamics within the region.
