The internship program at CSIS aims to provide students with an opportunity to work and conduct research on issues pertinent to Indonesia. Internship opportunities are only available for those holding at least an undergraduate degree in majors relevant to CSIS' research topics. Internship positions are available for Fall, Spring, and Summer Terms. Internship duration may vary between 10 to 16 weeks.
Following the development of the COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta and Indonesia, please be noted the following changes regarding the internship application during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The internship is a combination between remote internship and in-person.
The in-person internship complies with CSIS' Work-from-Home policy which is subject to monthly review based on the latest development

Requirements
Requirements
3rd year or 4th year undergraduate/master’s student or fresh graduate with economics/politics/international relations background
Strong interest in international, regional (East Asia, Asia Pacific or ASEAN) and Indonesia’s domestic issues
Experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies and research techniques preferred
Strong analytical, writing, communication and teamwork skills
3rd year or 4th year undergraduate student or fresh graduate
Majoring in communications, visual communication design, computer science, library science, economics, international relations, social-political science, or any other relevant fields
Knowledgeable and experienced in one, or a few of the following skills:
Social Media Management
Graphic Design
Video Editing
Photography
Media Relations
IT and computer networking
Statistics and Data Visualization
Research in SOcial Sciences
High-level English proficiency is essential
