Beltsazar is a researcher at the Department of Politics and Social Change, and Knowledge Manager at CSIS Indonesia. He has worked on EU-funded projects such as CRISEA (competing regional integrations in Southeast Asia) and PRODIGEES (Promoting Research on Digitalisation in Emerging Powers and Europe towards Sustainable Development), as well as SEA-focused project such as ASEAN Cyber Norms Track-Two Diplomacy. He attended the Managing Global Governance (MGG) Academy at the German Development Institute/Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) as well as Training for International Diplomats at the German Federal Foreign Ministry. He holds an MSc from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland on international relations, focusing on cybersecurity and digital politics, with his MSc dissertation on regional cybersecurity governance in Southeast Asia earned a first-class honours.
